Princess Harvest Moon Banquet
Event Coordinator - Randy Westlund

This year's Indian Princess Harvest Moon Banquet will once again be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Lisle. This event is for father's and daughters and features a sit down dinner with dancing and entertainment afterwards.
It will be held on November 15th from 4:30 - 8:30.  The cost is $26 per dad and $16 per princess and is due at the November longhouse. As in the past portraits will taken and printed for the participants to take with them. The cost of the portrait is $5.
The schedule is as follows:
4:30 Registration/ Portrait photos
5:30 - 6:30 Dinner
6:30 - 7 Entertainment
7:00 - 8:30 Dancing



Guides Harvest Moon Hayride
Event Coordinator - Brian Martenson

The Indian Guides Harvest Moon Hayride will be held on November 8th at the Danada Equistrian Center at  from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The cost is $5 and a donation of a canned good for our local food pantry, payable at the door.
This is a family event. The Nation will be providing hot chocolate and s'mores. Firepits will be lit if you wish to bring hot dogs to cook.



Christmas Party
Event Coordinator - Blake O'Halloran

The annual Holiday party will be held on December 6th at the YMCA from 1pm to 3pm. Each child is asked to bring a wrapped gift costing around $7. Each tribe is asked to add one additional $7 gift in the event a child forgets theirs. Each tribe is also asked to contribute $10 towards the raffle.
Please bring a snack item to share with the nation.



Christmas Tree Set-up and Sales
Event Coordinator - Courtney Hack

Christmas Tree stand set up will be on Saturday November 14th at 8:00 am.; unloading will be on the 21st at 8:00 am. Remember 'Many hands make light work'.

Tree Sales begin right after Thanksgiving. Please sign up for as many slots as possible.
One suggestion: Look back at your tribes' alumni. Send out an invitation and schedule a slot. Use this as a way to reconnect and catch up with friends you may not see often.



Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Wizards
Event Coordinator - Joe Kozlowski



Come join the Nation in cheering the Bulls on January 15th. Tickets are 1/2 price; $20 each and this event is open to family and friends. Order forms are available on the website. See link below. We have a limited number of tickets so get your order in as soon as possible. Orders must be turned into Joe Kozlowski directly. The order must be turned into the Bulls no later than November 20th

The November Longhouse will be on November 3rd; 8pm at the Y.
Items due at the longhouse include:
Princess Harvest Moon attendee list and payment
Bulls Game registration and payment
Winter Campout Preregistration and payment
Christmas Tree Sales slot sign up.


Patch Design

We are in need of budding artists in our ranks to design patches for the events. We currently need designs for the Pancake Breakfast and the Fall Campout. Submit your child's design to Bob Compere at guidefeatherbearer@logewhego.org

The games at our Guides fall campout were a huge success. All of the boys and dads got into the competition. Thanks to Bob Solak for coordinating and running this activity. Winners were as follows:
