About our program...
The Logewhego Federation YMCA Guides & Princess program is dedicated to building a strong relationship between fathers and sons or daughters. The program began many years ago as the Indian Guides for fathers and sons then expanded to include daughters with the Indian Princess program. The basis for the program initially was to create a bond between the father and their children through activities that revolved around a Native American (Indian) theme. Over the years the B.R. Ryall YMCA has held true to this foundation and has continued to evolve the program as the decades have passed. Currently our program has continued to base itself along the original Native American theme. We encourage fathers to participate in both tribe small group functions such as meeting held on a rotational basis at members homes and in Nation or large group functions such as the seasonal camp outs. Our members have benefited in many ways but most importantly by building a strong relationship between father and child through these events.
Our web site is one of the many tools that foster our program and its ability to serve the membership. Please explore the site and utilize it as a resource both for current as well as prospective members.
